This whole Olivia Nuzzi thing is wild. I remember reading one of her pieces a few years back, when she first rose to prominence, and thinking she was trying too hard to make herself part of the story. Little did I know!

Another example here of a writer who only dabbles in politics cutting through an issue better than the alleged experts.

OK, Tyler Parker is my new favorite NBA writer. Very much in the spirit of Shea Serrano, combining astute analysis with stupidly fun nonsense. Like here, where he goes into great detail about how Dirk Nowitski sits on a couch.

This is really sophisticated, high-level stuff and he’s pulling it off like it’s nothing. It’s electric television. We’re better for it.
