A great story about a moment in college basketball history I knew nothing about. The video clips, especially, are a time warp to another era. That was the winter I was discovering college basketball, which means I’m extra romantic about it. There was something special about that time when it was still very much a regional sport and teams like Indiana State could be total mysteries to everyone outside Terre Haute.

While it must be taken with a grain of salt, as Will Leitch is an Illinois alum, it is a pretty fantastic take down of Bruce Pearl. It’s no wonder he may be running for the US Senate as a MAGA candidate: he believes rules are for suckers and should be ignored if they get in the way of you getting what you want.
