A terrible day for America, but this is A+++ headline writing.
In win for infectious diseases, Florida to end all school vaccine requirements
I was never a full-time journalist, but this piece brought back some memories of my days at the Daily Journal. Especially the footnote about keeping a running box score of a high school football game. I’ll get to The Paper at some point.
The Local Newspaper Is Dead. That’s Why We Have ‘The Paper.’
A journalist decided to dig into what all those weird recruiting texts we all get mean. The one he followed, at least, seemed like an awful lot of work for a pretty meager profit for the scammers.
Also, the thing that always drives me crazy about them is how they’ve allegedly reviewed my resume and are very impressed, but include the disclaimer that I must be at least 25 to apply for whatever position they are pushing. If they had reviewed my record, wouldn’t they know I’m well over 25???? Stupid scammers.
Finally, I suggested that my wife put copies of these in her office. She did laugh, but I don’t think she’s going to take my suggestion.
