Spotify must be tracking my location. If you told me there was a song called &#8220;Peace Blossom Boogy&#8221; I would expect it to sound exactly like this.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Palomino&#8221; &#8211; First Aid Kit<br \/>\nThis starts out sounding like a Ryan Adams song. At least until the vocals kick in. Then it turns into your standard, gorgeous, FAK song.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;No Rule&#8221; &#8211; Manchester Orchestra<br \/>\nA leftover from Manchester Orchestra&#8217;s most recent album, 2021&#8217;s <em>A Million Masks of Gold<\/em>. I always hate to tell artists who, you know, have been kind of successful, how to run their careers. But I do not get why this did not make the final track list for that LP. It&#8217;s wonderful. There&#8217;s a similar leftover track in my final list for my favorite songs of the year. Had this been released a little earlier, it would have been a strong contender as well.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Running with the Hurricane&#8221; &#8211; Camp Cope<br \/>\nSpeaking of my favorites list, another song that was on the outside looking in.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Fear of Art&#8221; &#8211; THUMPER<br \/>\nOne more that would land somewhere in my top 30 if my list went that deep.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Climax Blues Band - Couldn&#039;t Get It Right (Top of the Pops)\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FRVSSwJYqh0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Couldn&#8217;t Get It Right&#8221; &#8211; Climax Blues Band<br \/>\nI watched a movie this week that took place in the late &#8217;70s and had a great soundtrack, including this jam. I have a &#8217;70s playlist that I don&#8217;t listen to nearly often enough. When I checked to make sure this song was included, it was right there at track number one. Someone wanted me to share it with you this week. I was under the impression that Top of the Pops performances were always lip-synched, but this appears to have been a live performance.
