I&#8217;ve yet to hear one I did not like. I don&#8217;t think I realized, when I&#8217;ve shared songs from them in the past, that they are based in Luxembourg. That might be a new pin on our musical map.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mother Mary&#8221; &#8211; Late Bloomer<br \/>\nThe first song of 2024 that has grabbed me and won&#8217;t let go. Also an entry in the Country or Not bucket. Two birds, one stone!<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Terrible News&#8221; &#8211; Middle Kids<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve now heard five songs from the next MK album. All are good to very good. Makes me a little nervous if anything is left to delight me on album release day next month.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Coping&#8221; &#8211; LAYMAN<br \/>\nCan you tell these kid are from Australia?<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This Is Not America&#8221; &#8211; David Bowie, Pat Matheny<br \/>\nI watched the 1985 flick <em>The Falcon and The Snowman<\/em> last week. Pretty good. The movie was a bit of a box office dud, and this, the de facto theme, barely cracked the Top 40. Not sure that&#8217;s the impact the creators behind each were going for.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;USA&#8221; &#8211; The Orwells<br \/>\n&#8216;Merica. Also mentions Kansas prominently and I just read a retelling of an Orwell story. I had to play this. Props to my people who have made it out of Kansas.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Listen, The Snow Is Falling&#8221; &#8211; Galaxie 500 covering Yoko Ono<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t get many chances to play this these days, but it is snowing this morning.
