\u201cThe Boy In the Bubble\u201d – Paul Simon. I acknowledge Simon\u2019s place in music history, but his songs never really connected with me. They were my parents\u2019 generation\u2019s songs, not mine. This is the one exception. I\u2019ve always loved it and crank it up any time I hear it, as I did earlier this week on SiriusXM\u2019s The Spectrum station.<\/p>\n
\u201cPale Kings\u201d – Shearwater. One of my three favorite songs of the year (so far). The last line, \u201cRight nooooooooooooooooow!\u201d is perfect for singing along to loudly in the car.<\/p>\n
\u201cStrawberry Fields Forever\u201d – The Beatles. With the death of George Martin this week, I had to throw in something he was responsible for. Like all things Beatles, you can argue about which song he produced and arranged was the best, or the biggest achievement.
