Fall begins just after 4:00 today here in Indy. So of course we\u2019re in the midst of the hottest, driest stretch of the year. Cross country practice was cancelled last night and Sunday\u2019s meet as been moved up two hours to keep the kids out of the heat. Lawns are burning up all over the place. I felt like I was going to melt at L\u2019s soccer practice Wednesday and all I was doing was playing some light goalie while the kids shot. Crazy to think that, back in early July, we were something like 12-inches over normal for rain.
